I welcome you to the 137th year of the founding of Wiley College as a United Methodist Church affiliated institution!

As President and CEO, it gives me great pleasure to host you at the Third Annual Ethical Student Leadership Conference. This premiere program is a component of the College’s Center for Excellence in Student Leadership. Developing leaders who are Christian in their values, broad in their perspectives and knowledgeable and grounded in their decision-making and grounded in their decision-making has been integral to the mission of Wiley College throughout its rich history and during this administration.

Through the Ethical Student Leadership Conference, Wiley College continues to expose you to learned scholars and experienced practitioner and experts. These individuals are well aware of what it takes to be prepared for effective, moral and spiritual leadership in the Twenty-First Century. We encourage you to engage them in conversations, offer your observations and, ultimately, depart as better informed and inspired future leaders.
